Abstract
Columnar activated carbon is a kind of cylindrical granular activated carbon made from high-quality coal, coconut shells, wood chips, etc. as raw materials through processes such as crushing, carbonization, activation and molding. It appears as black amorphous particles, featuring a well-developed pore structure and a large specific surface area. It is widely used in fields such as gas treatment, sewage treatment, and solvent recovery.
2. Core Features
High adsorption performance: It has a strong adsorption capacity for volatile organic compounds, residual chlorine, odors, heavy metals and other pollutants.
High mechanical strength: The cylindrical structure is wear-resistant and pressure-resistant, making it suitable for dynamic adsorption processes.
The pore structure is reasonable: the distribution of micropores, mesopores and macropores is reasonable, which can meet the adsorption requirements of different molecular sizes.
Strong regenerability: The adsorption capacity can be restored through thermal regeneration or chemical regeneration, reducing the usage cost.
